About moi: I'm a mostly vegan with a love of food and hockey. I'm hoping to keep this blog mostly about food, but don't blame me if hockey gets mixed in here somehow.
About the name: People think vegetables are these wimpy mushy things. Things to be avoided during the meal. Things to be hidden away under your plate. But vegetables aren't wimpy. They're ferocious. They're belligerent. They're truculent. And they're awesome.
(yes, I was introduced to the word by the Toronto Maple Leafs' GM, Brian Burke. No, I'm not a Leafs fan. FAAAAAAAR from it).
